John and Heather Cashman founded Axiom in year 2000 with the idea that green building and fabulous design was a niche that should be filled in Seattle. Axiom has been going green with simple decisions like re-using vertical grain fir doors from a demolished Seattle middle school, to installing photovoltaic solar panels, to the design-build of rain catching cistern systems, to reclaiming fallen old growth cedar siding. Axiom is committed to helping our clients build green if and when the budget allows. We understand the benefits of green building to the environment, to the local economy, and to our future. We are professionally accredited and educated on a number of ways we can reduce our carbon footprint, and will be happy to talk to you further about going green on your next project.
