Madison Park Rambler
Located in Seattle’s Madison Park neighborhood, this single-level mid-century modern home underwent a thoughtful and refined remodel designed to honor its architectural roots while elevating its livability for a dynamic, active family. With a sprawling floor plan that effortlessly connects to a secluded backyard, the home is both a private retreat and a vibrant hub for gathering.
At the core of the renovation is the kitchen. A true showpiece, the new kitchen features custom white oak cabinetry, a generous island that invites connection, a pass through to the adjacent formal dining room, and a casual dining area for more intimate family meals. Each dining space opens to the back yard, making it easy to enjoy an evening glass of wine by the custom steel firepit or take refuge in the shade on a hot summer's day.
Beyond the kitchen, the entire home was refreshed with a clean, modern aesthetic that maintains the spirit of mid-century design — warm wood tones, open sightlines, tons of natural light, and bold pops of color. A dedicated guest suite offers privacy and comfort for visitors, while a newly constructed detached workout studio provides a dedicated space tailored to support the client’s rigorous triathlon training.
