Queen Anne house lift and interior remodel
Nestled in the heart of Seattle’s historic Queen Anne neighborhood, this 1930s bungalow underwent a transformative remodel that brought new life to an ageing classic. Our team had the opportunity to completely reimagine the home from the ground up—literally. The house was lifted to create a more functional lower level, allowing us to expand the livable space while preserving the original character and charm of the exterior.
Inside, the space was completely refreshed with a colorful, open, and modern aesthetic that reflects the vibrant personality of our client. From the very beginning, their energy was contagious, inspiring the entire design and construction team throughout the process. The result is a bright, welcoming home that feels both playful and refined.
Axiom's scope included full architectural and construction services, as well as the selection of all interior furnishings, fixtures, and art. The final design is a seamless blend of old and new: a joyful, modern interior wrapped in the warmth of a classic bungalow shell.
